This space is the officer’s dining room and lounge. It is their 'home away from home' and is managed by the executive officer. It has its own pantry to prepare the officers meals. The officers pay for their own meals, and the money is collected by the mess treasurer. Proper decorum and military manners are maintained at all times in the wardroom.
