The B-1 or forward engine room contains two sets of heating boilers, 60KW AC generators, diaphone air compressors, service air compressors and water heaters. Also contains the main switchboard, evaporator, fire and fuel transfer pumps. The B-1 engine room was the one that was used mostly on station. This view is from the middle of the engine room where Generator No.2 can be seen.
